Character. A country with character. Its unique location has given it a distinctive and remarkably attractive personality<\/strong><\/p>\n

Central Asia has long been a crossroads of multiple cultures and peoples. Its lands always bear traces of each of them, and in this sense, Azerbaijan is a privileged country. Turks, Iranians, Caucasians, and Russians have been\u2014and still are\u2014neighbors who have left their mark on its character.<\/p>\n

Cultural wealth\u2014and material wealth, too. In 1870, the eternal fire was discovered beneath its soil. Vast amounts of oil have contributed to the country\u2019s prosperity.<\/p>\n

Speaking of wealth, Baku, the capital, boasts a UNESCO-protected old town with 12th-century architecture. Around it rise striking and audacious buildings, led by the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center by architect Zaha Hadid, and the Flame Towers\u2014the city\u2019s three most iconic skyscrapers\u2014where we will, of course, reserve your accommodation.<\/p>\n

More wealth: archaeological. Gobustan is home to an exceptional collection of over 6,000 petroglyphs, along with rock art and remains of ancient settlements.<\/p>\n

Picturesque wealth. Sheki, one of the cities on the Silk Road, is famed as the most beautiful in the country. Nestled among green mountains, the colorful fa\u00e7ades of its houses and the treasures of the Khan\u2019s Palace stand out vividly.<\/p>\n

Natural wealth. Azerbaijan\u2019s mountains rise above 2,300 meters, dotted with charming villages perfect for leisurely strolls.<\/p>\n

But not everything is contemplative. You can also immerse yourself in the thrilling art of bargaining while buying a carpet in Guba, home to some of the world\u2019s most exquisite rugs.<\/p>\n
