Petit Món
Petit Món is a private non-profit foundation founded in 2008, with the aim of improving the quality of life for people in need and helping them build a better future.
Its first project was the creation of a shelter for girls rescued from child prostitution in Kathmandu, Nepal. Soon, this objective expanded to accommodate both girls and boys who required care. This is how the Sano Sansar shelter (Petit Món in Nepali) was born.
Today, more than 30 children and adolescents live in this residence, where they have a home, feel loved and respected, and receive the care they deserve. Petit Món oversees not only their nutrition but also their education and schooling, while working to create opportunities for them to access employment that allows for a happy life.
Currently, Petit Món runs projects in Nepal, India, Burkina Faso, and Haiti, as well as in Barcelona, where they established and manage a shelter to provide temporary accommodation for families displaced due to the hospitalization of a family member.
Ferrer & Saret collaborates with Petit Món, specifically supporting their work in Nepal by becoming “Friends of Sano Sansar.”
In this way, we sponsor the children at the Sano Sansar home, contributing to their education and well-being, and helping them build a happy future.
Petit Món, tres sueños
The first is our raison d’être: at Petit Món, we help individuals and groups in need, especially children, with difficult pasts or presents, so they can enjoy a more dignified life. We do this by helping them build their own future.
The second is to contribute to making our little world greater in values: help, cooperation, solidarity, and commitment.
The third dream is that all our projects, big or small, are carried out with passion, because the only thing that truly matters is people.
