Antarctica:
the polar attraction
What you don’t see above the sea, you’ll discover beneath it, by submarine
Kayak among icebergs to skyrocket your adrenaline
Your guide will lead you to the most photogenic spot for thousands of kilometres
The Poles not only attract compasses. They attract those who are avid for adventure and superlative experiences.
There are boats and boats. The ones that defy the ice South of the Strait of Magellan are different boats. They’re adapted to the hard navigation conditions but also to our way of understanding what travelling is about: pure relaxation.
Setting sail southward leaving behind places such as Tierra de Fuego or the Torres del Paine in the Patagonia is marking a hopeful start to the trip.
You can then observe from the deck seals, whales, penguins, and marine birds that take advantage of the Austral summer to find food and reproduce.
We disembark guided by scientific teams that are in search of new discoveries to better humanity.
And, believe it or not, we can board a kayak and row in the Antarctic seas. Once on firm ice, we’ll hike with snow rackets to arrive at immense glaciers and bays, see the comic movement of the penguins, and, a bit further away, we’ll admire the gigantic pieces of ice that emerge from a blue seemingly only found in paintings.
After the barrage of feelings, we end up where we started, in the cozy boat from where to enjoy the ice, but this time the ice in your whiskey glass to celebrate the conquest of the white continent, following the steps of Scott or Amundsen (but this time surrounded by the maximum comfort).
