Namibia:
mysteries hidden in front of your eyes
You won’t mind waking up early to admire Dune 45
Look out over the canyons of the ephemeral Tsauchab River.
The most beautiful light on Earth. Keep your camera close
The ‘why’ doesn’t matter. What matters is that what you have in front of you is different to what you have seen before.
They are the cleanest skies in the world. The best place to photograph them during the day but especially to be in awe at sunset with the most luminous celestial dome. Why? Does it matter?
It’s Dune 45. Where potentially the world’s most beautiful sunrise takes place. Is it because of its 80 meters of height? Because of its pure atmosphere? Maybe, but… does it matter?
They are the world’s most photogenic deserts. Is it because of their altitude and latitude? Because of its colour? The the inclination of its slopes? But… does it really matter?
They are the world’s unique colourful sandbanks. Scientists say that it is because of iron oxidisation and the sand’s minerals. It might well be. Regardless, we are captivated for a different reason.
They are the canyons of the Tsauchab river, whose flow may be either tumultuous or a simple thread of water surrounded by 30 meter walls. All because of the intense rain that rarely appears. Yes. Regardless, what matters to us is something different.
What matters is beauty.
A unique beauty. Fascinating because it’s genuine. A result of nature and of time without any kind of human intervention.
We are now going to allow ourselves to put a cherry on top. But now, with a very human touch. We will choose, for example, the exotic Little Kulala, with its glass rooms to not miss a single detail of such spectacular surroundings. And we will board an airplane or a balloon to cross the Nanib desert.
We’re going to Namibia to connect with true natural beauty. And this… matters.
