South Africa’s fauna is like no other’s. But, fauna aside, the country is breathtakingly attractive. 

Two lionesses calmly walk at sunset and you’re close, very close. You look at your surroundings and the scenery’s beauty moves you. A wild beauty, a breathtaking beauty.

In its safaris you’ll see elephants, white and black rhinoceroses, lions, leopards, whales, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, penguins, and, naturally, the springbok, South Africa’s national symbol.

The Kruger National Park is the most well-known, but there are also excellent safaris in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, the Madikwe Game Reserve, the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, or the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, in the middle of the Kalahari desert.

South Africa… Natural parks, reserves, calm beaches and… stars.

You must do it: going to the mountainous desert of Cederberg at sunset and contemplating the Milky Way like never before, between whimsical rock arches. The luminosity is unique.

Discovering the Wild Coast along calm paths means accessing cliffs and beaches from where to see whales and dolphins in a turquoise sea.

And Cape Town, with an unquestionable beauty and moving history. A cable car goes up to Table Mountain to have an incomparable view. In the city, beaches, cellars, world-class restaurants, and vanguardist neighbourhoods. But from here sails the ferry that goes to Robben island, where the prison for apartheid political prisoners and where Nelson Mandela was detained for 18 years is found. A harsh yet necessary visit to understand the country and the world. And to think, once again, that this is a breathtaking country.
